Thesis Work - Identifying distributed energy resources from consumption patterns at Vattenfall

Vattenfall is seeking one Master’s student to conduct a thesis project in its R&D Analytics Programme, investigating how distributed energy resources can be identified from electricity consumption data using data-driven and machine learning methods. The student will review literature, develop and evaluate statistical and machine learning models, assess model performance and uncertainty, and provide implementation recommendations. The project is based in Solna, with a start date of 2027-01-11 or by agreement, and the application deadline was 2026-10-18.
