Description
Apple is hiring a remote Thread/Matter Network Reliability Engineer to work with test labs and internal and third-party engineering teams on the Thread and Matter standards. The role focuses on building and driving key metrics, improving the size and reliability of networks, increasing network traffic capacity, profiling networks, identifying problems and solutions, implementing fixes, and testing them. Candidates need at least five years of networking experience, knowledge of C or C++, packet-analysis and wire-trace skills, wireless-protocol experience, and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
