Description

Coupang is hiring an internal Threat Engineer for its Detection Engineering team in Seoul. The role defines security threats and translates them into detectable rules across network, operating system, application, cloud, and authentication layers; implements and validates detection logic in a SIEM; improves detection quality and coverage; supports regulatory compliance and advanced-threat scenarios; and applies AI/LLMs to enhance analysis and automation. The position requires at least five years of information-security experience, including two years in detection engineering or security analysis, along with SIEM, log-analysis, threat-modeling, and cloud-security knowledge.

Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of information-security experience, including at least 2 years in detection engineering or security analysis
