Google is hiring a Manager, Google Defense Intelligence to direct operational execution and investigative strategy for security engineers and analysts. The role oversees complex campaign investigations, converts intelligence into systemic mitigations, delivers strategic risk assessments, and scales global defenses through threat hunting, attribution, automation, agentic workflows, advanced analytics, and cross-functional response. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and 10 years of experience in security assessments, security engineering, computer and network security, security protocols, technical team leadership, and technical risk analysis, along with people-management experience. Compensation is $262,000–$364,000 USD plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
