Description
Mesa Rim is hiring a part-time Tier 1 Coach for competitive and/or recreational climbing programs. The role supports youth athletes by executing training programs, reinforcing safety and youth-protection policies, building rapport, managing small groups, delivering customer service, and promoting climbing culture. Coaches may be assigned to competitive, recreational, or both departments and must work Monday and Wednesday afternoons or evenings, with hours varying by location. The position requires youth and climbing experience, basic climbing technique knowledge, strong communication, an inclusive coaching approach, and a criminal and sex offender background check. San Diego pay is $18.25-$20.50 per hour, with employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
