Description
The University of Leipzig is hiring a full-time Tierpfleger/-in (animal caretaker) for its Teaching and Research Estate Oberholz in Großpösna. The role is responsible for caring for pigs, cattle, and sheep, with a focus on piglet breeding and fattening; instructing students and trainees; assisting with veterinary activities; documenting research data; and maintaining housing and mobile equipment. The position is fixed-term for two years with continued employment intended, offers part-time work, and requires vocational training in animal care or farming, relevant livestock experience, a Class B driver’s license, and German language skills at nearly native level.
