Description
The Tissue Recovery Specialist is an independent contractor role at Ossium Health, supporting their vertebral body recovery program. The specialist will respond to communications regarding donor recovery availability, perform vertebral body recovery, develop in-depth knowledge of protocols, travel to facilities, coordinate with Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) staff, and deliver recovered tissue to Ossium's processing facility in Indianapolis. This role requires flexibility, attention to aseptic practice, and strong communication skills. It is not an on-call position but requires availability to accept cases with limited notice.
