Downer is hiring a Temporary Traffic Management Designer for a 12-month fixed-term role based at Kerrs Road, Wiri, Auckland. The position supports telecommunications construction, maintenance, and fault-response work by preparing, reviewing, submitting, and maintaining Temporary Traffic Management Plans, Traffic Management Diagrams, reusable schemes, and supporting documentation; designing practical traffic controls; completing risk assessments; coordinating with corridor access and approving authorities; and providing technical advice to corridor access, planning, field, and delivery teams. The role requires current TTM Designer competency, relevant legacy TTM Planner experience, knowledge of New Zealand traffic management and access requirements, and competence with approved design software and Microsoft Office.
