OTTO Engineering is hiring a full-time Tool and Die Maker Apprentice at its Tech Center in Carpentersville, Illinois. The apprentice will participate in a three-year program combining evening classroom training through the Technology and Manufacturing Association in Schaumburg with daytime hands-on work at OTTO, learning metal stamping, die setup, and operation of manual and CNC tool room equipment while maintaining a safe, clean work area. The role requires a high school diploma, completion of an industrial technology high school program or equivalent, strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, consistent attendance, and the ability to work a nonstandard schedule and lift up to 50 pounds. Compensation starts at $18 per hour and OTTO offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement match, life insurance, disability coverage, holidays, vacation, and profit sharing.
