Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring a Tooling Specialist IV - Progressive Die Technician for the second shift at its Fullerton, California aerospace manufacturing facility. The role involves independently setting up and installing multi-station progressive dies and punch presses, adjusting clearances, verifying first-article parts, troubleshooting die and strip problems, performing repairs, and training dye setters and operators. The position requires at least four years of related progressive-die repair and maintenance experience or equivalent fastener-manufacturing experience, knowledge of tool-room equipment and metal alloys, and the ability to interpret drawings and use inspection instruments. Training occurs on the first shift for the first one to two months, and visa sponsorship is not available.
