Description
Ascent Aerospace is hiring an experienced aerospace tooling professional to lay out, fabricate, assemble, and repair jigs, fixtures, forms, templates, bond tools, and related manufacturing tooling. The role involves reading blueprints and MBD models, operating lathes, Bridgeport machines, surface grinders, cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment, using precision inspection tools, working with aluminum, steel, and Invar, and completing tooling jobs independently. Candidates need at least five years of manufacturing, machining setup and operation, and inspection-gage experience, along with blueprint and GD&T skills and U.S. person eligibility under ITAR.
