Description
The Engineer Tool Design role designs industrial machinery, equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments for production or experimental use. Responsibilities include creating drawings, tolerance stack-up analyses, exploded views, models, and components from various manufacturing processes; applying GD&T; supporting testing and prototype fixtures; coordinating with suppliers and customers; and meeting project timelines. The role requires at least six years of Catia design experience, familiarity with industry standards, strong communication and technical-detail-management skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, a professional engineering certificate, and the ability to perform and stamp stress analysis.
