Description
Airbus is hiring a Tool Engineer in Hamburg Finkenwerder to design and specify special production tools for civil aircraft structure and equipment assembly, develop tooling concepts, lead tooling development sub-projects, integrate manufacturing and automation technologies, support procurement and supplier acceptance, validate documentation, manage subcontracted design offices, and drive continuous improvement. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or technical studies, three years of experience in jigs and tools development and design, industrialization project management experience, SAP and Catia V5 familiarity, and fluent German and advanced English. It offers an unlimited employment contract, a 35-hour workweek, 30 days of annual leave, and an annual salary of around 64,000 euros.
