Description
Intel is hiring a Tool Equipment Install Technician for a fixed-term, approximately 12-month contract supporting the construction and commissioning of semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities. The role involves interpreting blueprints, performing measurements and calculations, operating tools and machinery, selecting materials, solving on-site problems, managing installation workstreams, coordinating suppliers and contractors, applying lean principles, and promoting safety. Candidates must meet one of several education and experience pathways, including high school or associate/bachelor’s degrees in relevant STEM fields, with no prior experience required for the bachelor’s-degree pathway. The position is on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, and is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
