Description
The Mold and Tooling Technician maintains, repairs, cleans, and services plastic injection molds and tooling components to minimize production downtime. The role includes reading work orders, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting tooling issues, assembling molds to precise tolerances, using precision measuring equipment, documenting maintenance records, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating with production and engineering teams. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, five years of hands-on tool-room experience involving plastic injection mold repair or maintenance, knowledge of hot runner systems and hydraulic systems, and the ability to lift 55 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
