Description
The Tool Maker for 2nd Shift will repair, design, fix, and maintain tools, tooling, and machines at the Auburn Hills, Michigan plant. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up and operating machine tools, machining and assembling dies, inspecting and testing tools, troubleshooting repairs, conducting quality checks, and maintaining production records. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, toolmaking experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check; a journeyman card and five years of tool-and-die manufacturing experience are preferred. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with possible overtime and weekend work.
