RTCA is hiring a full-time, onsite Tool Maker – Assembly Technician in Sumner, Washington. The role builds, modifies, repairs, and maintains production tooling, fixtures, jigs, templates, gauges, and work-holding devices while supporting prototype, first-article, and production assembly of precision aerospace components. Responsibilities include mechanical assembly, tooling fabrication, troubleshooting, quality inspection, documentation, and process improvement. Applicants need experience with production tooling, mechanical assembly, blueprint interpretation, precision tools and measurement, layout, drilling, tapping, deburring, and light fabrication.
