Description
Mueller Water Products, Inc. is seeking a Tool/Pattern Maker/Die Sinker to join their team. The primary function involves operating various tool room machines and equipment, including layout and assembly according to engineering specifications to create, repair, maintain, and calibrate shop tools, jigs, fixtures, instruments, patterns, core boxes, machine and equipment parts, furniture, and shipping containers. Specific duties include setting up and operating machines like grinders, lathes, milling machines, CNC mills, drill presses, saws, planers, sanders, and welding equipment. The role also requires fabricating, assembling, constructing, and repairing metal or wood parts using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Additionally, the individual must sharpen tools to a high tolerance and maintain cleanliness.
