Description
The Tool Setter assembles tools from fixed lists, manages and replenishes the tool warehouse, inspects and maintains tools, holders, and inserts, coordinates with foremen and operators, and organizes the workplace. The role may also involve making tools on a lathe or milling machine. It requires technical insight or experience with tools, accuracy, organization, communication, and independent initiative, and offers a day-shift position with meal vouchers, mileage or bicycle allowance, a year-end bonus, and 32 vacation days.
