Description
Blue Origin is hiring a mid-to-senior-level tooling design engineer to design, analyze, build, test, and commission production, development, and aerospace manufacturing tooling and equipment for its Blue Engines, Lunar, and New Glenn business units. The role involves mechanical design, structural analysis, CAD modeling and drafting, GD&T, DFM/DFA, manufacturing-process knowledge, project and vendor management, and collaboration with engineering and production teams. A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience and 5+ years of relevant tooling or custom-equipment experience are required. The position is based at a Blue Origin facility, offers relocation, and requires U.S. work authorization under export-control regulations.
