Description
The Tooling Designer will design and engineer auxiliary and production equipment for optical manufacturing, including fixtures for grinding and polishing, measuring instruments, and cleanroom assembly equipment. The role supports new product launches, analyzes and optimizes manufacturing and measurement processes, prepares equipment specifications and operating instructions, and coordinates manufacturing, development, project management, and purchasing. It is a temporary 12-month contract in Wetzlar with a 35-hour workweek, immediate or arranged start, and an option for permanent hire.
