Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is hiring a mid-level Tooling Engineer for its Orchard Park, New York facility. The role designs, validates, and structurally analyzes specialized manufacturing tooling, assembly fixturing, high-pressure test fixtures, and test stands for commercial aircraft, spacecraft, and missile systems. Responsibilities include CAD tooling design, manual stress and safety-factor calculations, GD&T drawings, PLM workflow management, and coordination with manufacturing, test, and machine shops. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field with two years of engineering or tooling design experience, or an associate degree with three years of direct tooling design or engineering experience, plus at least two years of CAD experience. The expected annual salary is $71,000 to $105,000, and no relocation is offered.
