Description
The Tooling Engineer develops and maintains efficient manufacturing methods, coordinates tooling for new and changed jobs, manages engineering changes and vendor installations, and supports product, material, process, and quality activities. The role includes DFMEA and PFMEA, tooling setup sheets, product verification, document control, cost analysis, continuous improvement, technical support, and new-product manufacturing method development. It requires an associate degree in Tooling or three to five years of related tool and die experience, knowledge of metal-stamping manufacturing systems, technical aptitude, and a strong commitment to quality.
