Cooper Standard Spartanburg, SC manufacturing plant is seeking a skilled Mold Tool Maker responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying over 100 active plastic injection molds. The role focuses on mold repair, preventative maintenance, engineering change modifications, and spotting in new molds or details. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing molds, performing engineering changes, executing spot-in and fitting operations, conducting manual machining using mill, lathe, and grinder equipment, performing high-precision TIG and micro-laser welding, executing hand bench work like polishing and deburring, and performing routine preventive maintenance.
