Description
The Toolmaker operates tool-room equipment to make or rework dies and tooling for headers or secondary equipment without supervision. The role requires reading manufacturing and tooling prints, selecting and preparing tools, using gaging equipment, maintaining a safe work area, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting less experienced toolmakers. It is a first-shift position requiring 3–5 years of tool-making experience, preferably in a metal manufacturing environment, strong math and troubleshooting skills, and an HSD/GED or relevant experience.
