The role also involves managing tool components through manufacturing stations and operating conventional and CNC-controlled machine tools. Applicants need a completed toolmaker apprenticeship in molding or pattern construction, several years of practical experience building plastic injection molding tools, technical understanding, and communication and teamwork skills.
