Description
The CNC Die and Fixture Machinist operates CNC machines to manufacture dies and fixtures, programs and sequences machining operations, collaborates with engineering on tool designs, repairs and assembles tools and fixtures, performs difficult setups requiring tight tolerances, conducts tool tryouts, and diagnoses machining problems. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong organization and prioritization skills, and 6 to 12 months of day-shift training before transferring to the third shift.
