Major Tool & Machine is hiring a Toolsetter in Indianapolis, Indiana to manage the tool crib supporting machining operations. The role receives, stores, inspects, measures, calibrates, sets, issues, and tracks hand tools, machine tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and related supplies. Responsibilities include operating and calibrating a Zoller pre-setter, using precision measuring instruments, maintaining computerized inventory and barcode records, evaluating damaged tooling, coordinating repairs and replacements, supporting machinists and CAD/CAM programmers with tooling issues, and following tool crib procedures. A high school diploma or GED is required; vocational or trade training, machining experience, or an apprenticeship is preferred, along with three to six months of experience preferred.
