Description
The Touch-Up Operator performs solder touch-up and basic rework on printed circuit board assemblies, correcting solder bridges, insufficient or excess solder, incomplete joints, and other workmanship defects. The role uses hand-soldering tools, desoldering equipment, microscopes, and assembly documentation to verify component placement, inspect solder joints, clean flux residue, record rework activities, and maintain IPC and customer quality standards. It requires hand-soldering experience, familiarity with SMT and through-hole components, ESD handling knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
