Description
The Tower Technician assists with the erection, construction, maintenance, and installation of wireless towers and cell-site equipment. Responsibilities include tower-top work, rigging, hoisting, antenna and cabling installation, grounding, testing, documentation, and crew support. The role is full-time, field-based, safety-sensitive, and requires travel of 80–100% of the time, with physical demands including climbing towers up to 500 feet and lifting 50 pounds or more. A high school diploma or GED is required; related trade school education and one to three years of tower-related experience are desired.
