Description

The employer is seeking a Process Safety / Major Hazards SME to serve as Technical Authority across energy, oil and gas, mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role leads technical assurance for process safety and major accident hazard management, including concept, FEED, and detailed design reviews; independent design assurance; complex engineering challenges; client workshops; business development; mentoring; and standards development. Candidates need a relevant engineering bachelor's degree, at least 20 years of experience in oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, or industrial projects, and experience in a Technical Authority, Chief Engineer, Principal Consultant, Engineering Fellow, or equivalent role. HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, QRA, consequence modelling, ALARP, and IEC 61511 expertise, along with knowledge of IEC, OSHA, and Saudi Aramco standards, are required; Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status is preferred.
