DB Bahnbau Group GmbH is hiring a career-changer for a 12-month retraining program to become a Track Compaction Machine Operator (Stopftechnik). After training, the operator will independently operate and maintain track tamping machines, fast-rail sleeper lining machines, dynamic track stabilization units, and track surveying vehicles; take over transfer trips between construction sites; and work at changing railway construction sites throughout Germany. The role requires vocational training in a commercial-technical field, a Class B driver’s license, flexibility, mobility, and willingness to work irregular hours, weekends, and night shifts.
