AECOM is hiring a Traction Power Engineer for its New York Metro Region systems practice to support rail systems design and construction projects. The role covers traction power design calculations, power distribution drawings, substation equipment, grounding and lightning protection, protective relay settings, commissioning, field inspections, and engineering estimates. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, four years of traction power design experience, and expertise with 750 V DC third rail and overhead distribution systems; a New York Professional Engineering License is preferred.
