Description
AECOM is hiring a Traction Power Project Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to assist with the design and analysis of DC or AC traction power systems for railways, light rail transit, and other electrified transportation networks. The role includes electrical schematics, power-system calculations, CAD drafting, technical documentation, field inspections, equipment testing and commissioning, and coordination with engineering disciplines and project stakeholders. The position requires an electrical or systems engineering degree, four years of relevant experience, power-system analysis software experience, and a Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one within two years; US employment authorization sponsorship is not available.
