The Tractor Technician performs intermediate-level maintenance, service, and repair of J.B. Hunt tractors and other equipment under routine supervision. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, completing fleet maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with J.B. Hunt specifications, and assisting with onboarding new technicians. This role requires proficiency in tractor maintenance, including fuel systems, batteries, engines, transmissions, and air brake systems. The technician must adhere to safety procedures, maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, and accurately perform repairs according to company standards.
