J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is hiring a full-time Tractor Technician Trainee in East Syracuse, New York. Under close supervision, the trainee learns shop tools, equipment, safety procedures, company policies, preventative maintenance, parts replacement, basic air brake repairs, FHWA inspections, work orders, standard repair times, and warranty guidelines. The role may involve outdoor work, multiple shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, communication, basic computer, organizational, time-management, deductive-reasoning, multitasking, physical lifting, PPE use, and teamwork skills.
