AAR is hiring a Trade Compliance Officer to serve as the primary resource for classifying, reviewing, and disposing of import and export transactions for its Worldwide Aviation Support Services program. The role oversees customs brokers, determines licensing and regulatory authorizations, handles ITAR, EAR, HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, and other export controls, supports export licenses and technology release determinations, conducts compliance reviews and training, maintains trade compliance records, and manages the company’s trade compliance program. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with seven years of export licensing or compliance experience, or a master’s degree with five years of stated experience, along with extensive aero-defense trade compliance experience and the ability to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance.
