Emerson is hiring a Trade Compliance Professional in Houston to serve as the primary resource for import/export compliance for United States locations of Actuation Technologies. The role coordinates import and export activities, maintains HTSUS and ECCN classifications, develops compliance policies and procedures, provides training, monitors customs valuation, supports export licensing and restricted-party screening, and partners with functional teams on country-of-origin classification and marking. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of related experience including three years of import/export compliance accountability, and knowledge of U.S. import and export regulations, classifications, customs procedures, and related systems.
