The role involves matching and settling trades, processing FX bookings and payments, managing unmatched and failed trades, investigating stock and cash breaks, handling broker and custodian queries, and producing client contract notes. The position requires knowledge of trade-settlement processes across UK, US, European, unit-trust, and offshore-fund markets, along with accuracy, attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and prior operations experience in asset or wealth management.
