Old Dominion University is hiring two full-time Trades Technician III workers for its Housing Maintenance department in Norfolk, Virginia. The role performs skilled repair and maintenance on mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, and grounds components of assigned buildings and grounds, including independent repairs and use of diagnostic, hand, and power tools. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, trade training, general experience across trades, and some skilled-trade experience; a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record are required. The position requires in-person reporting and is not eligible for telework.
