ASX is hiring a Futures Trading Technology Engineer to build and support critical infrastructure for the ASX 24 Futures Exchange. The role involves Linux-based trading software, build activities, L3 production support, shell scripting or Python/Perl automation, server, network, and relational database troubleshooting, QA testing, and work across on-premises and cloud environments. Candidates need hands-on experience in low-latency electronic trading, complex trading systems, Linux, networking, databases, cloud computing, packet capture, and data warehouses or data lakes. The position offers hybrid working and requires Australian permanent work authorization.
