AWP Safety is hiring a Protector to work with teams at job sites, setting up and removing traffic-control equipment, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, monitoring job-site activity, communicating with crew and supervisors, and maintaining vehicle and equipment safety. The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to stand and walk for long periods, the ability to lift 40–50 pounds, willingness to work outdoors in changing weather, and a flexible schedule; shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. AWP provides training, safety equipment, and pays $17.50–$18.25 per hour, with overtime, paid training, health insurance, and other benefits.
