Description
AWP Safety is hiring a Protector to work with teams at job sites, setting up and removing traffic-control equipment, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, monitoring job-site activity, communicating with crew and supervisors, and maintaining vehicle and equipment safety. The role requires a valid driver’s license, physical ability to stand, walk, and lift 40–50 pounds, willingness to work outdoors in changing weather, and availability for flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or emergency work. AWP provides training, safety equipment, and pays $17.25–$18.00 per hour with overtime, paid training, and benefits for eligible employees.
