HDR is hiring a Traffic Designer/EIT to support multimodal transportation analysis and traffic engineering projects in Missouri and Kansas within its Transportation Business Group. The role involves operational modeling, traffic design, maintenance-of-traffic planning, safety and multimodal studies, corridor and traffic engineering studies, dataset use, report contributions, and proposal support. Candidates need a bachelor's degree, strong communication and multitasking skills, and 0–2 years of relevant experience; EIT registration or progress toward registration is required. Experience with Synchro, VISSIM, Microsoft Office, signal design/timing, MicroStation or other CAD, and transportation safety analysis is sought, while GIS, travel-demand forecasting, and programming are pluses.
