Description
GHD is hiring a Traffic Engineer for its Place and Movement team in London or Guildford on a hybrid basis requiring three days per week in the office. The role covers transport and highway engineering design from concept through detailed design, including public realm, active travel, bus infrastructure, junction and highway improvements, Section 278 works, safety schemes, parking, and streetscape projects. Responsibilities include producing technical drawings and reports, conducting assessments, coordinating with other disciplines, supporting site inspections and construction monitoring, and liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders. Candidates need a relevant civil engineering, transport planning or related qualification, at least three years of transport, traffic or highways design experience, UK design standards knowledge, and AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency.
