Description
HDR is hiring a Traffic Engineer to perform complex traffic engineering projects, prepare traffic signal plans, traffic impact analysis reports, and PS and E documents, and make decisions on design and engineering procedures. The role may function as a technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects, supervise small staff as needed, and perform other duties. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, traffic analysis and traffic engineering/design experience, a professional engineering license recognized in the position's location, hands-on experience with CAD and traffic-analysis software, safety-analysis software experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong verbal and written communication skills. A minimum of five years of traffic analysis and traffic engineering/design experience is preferred.
