Description
Lochmueller Group is hiring an experienced Traffic Engineer in Columbus, Ohio, with a broader Ohio area considered. The role supports traffic engineering projects through studies, roadway analysis, signal design, traffic counts, level-of-service and safety evaluations, traffic-control-device design, technical calculations and drawings, reports, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Candidates should have at least five years of traffic engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a similar field, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license; AutoCAD or MicroStation experience is required, while Synchro, VISSIM, traffic forecasting, and intersection-design experience are helpful.
