AWP Safety is hiring a Traffic Planner to develop work-area traffic control plans for customers’ work zones and projects, including long-term temporary striping and K-rail plans and short-term daily plans. The role also prepares quotes, submits plans for agency review, coordinates permits and dispatch, manages multiple projects, and supervises draftsmen. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD or Rapid Plan, Microsoft Office, Google Earth, and a GIS program, know the MUTCD, understand construction blueprints, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
