Description
DS Smith Packaging is recruiting a Transport Planner at its Fordham site to plan customer deliveries and back hauls, manage transport-office activities, coordinate with customers and subcontractors, develop back-haul lanes, ensure compliance with WTD and drivers’-hours regulations, resolve customer queries, and identify cost and time improvements. The role follows a rotating shift pattern of 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–20:00, with one Saturday cover every three weeks, and requires knowledge of UK driving regulations, route planning, warehouse operations, and a strong safety record.
