Description
Clifford Chance is hiring a London Trainee Solicitor for a two-year training contract in commercial law. The trainee will complete four six-month rotations, including at least one seat in a Global Product Group such as Capital Markets, Debt Finance, Project Development & Finance, Restructuring & Insolvency, or Structured Finance, and may undertake international, client, or split-seat secondments. The role involves drafting and proofing documents, conducting due diligence, attending client meetings, preparing court documents, researching titles and leases, and supporting transactions. Applicants must be eligible to start in August 2029 or February 2030, have a 2:1 or above undergraduate degree, and complete the PGDL and SQE before joining; no prior legal experience is required. The salary is £56,000 in the first year, £61,000 in the second year, and £150,000 as a newly qualified lawyer.
